About Us

Nestled in the foothills of Los Angeles County, a tight-knit equestrian community thrives despite gentrification and urbanization.

CHVL was founded with the desire to support and preserve one of the last rural areas of the sprawling city of Angels by working closely with two local nonprofits: Let's Ride and Zen Heart. These volunteer-based organizations offer equine therapy, facilitation, and access to equestrian sports for disadvantaged youth and BIPOC riders, while also restarting and rehabbing off-the-track Thoroughbreds.

Our Founder

Flore Beaulac started CHVL, LLC in 2024 with the intention of combining her experience in the fashion industry with her passion for horses.

Born and raised in France, Flore started riding horses at the age of five. Originally a show jumper, she moved on to practicing dressage with her off-the-track Thoroughbred geldings.

At 18, she moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology and has since worked in the industry as a designer, product developer and sustainable material specialist.

When she moved to Los Angeles in 2020 that she reconnected with horses and started volunteering with Let's Ride as an instructor and board member.
